Dr. Zhang currently works on projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China Youth Program, the Policy Research Center for Environment and Economy at the Ministry of Environmental Protection, Shanghai Pujiang Talent Program (Social Sciences), and Shanghai Jiao Tong University New Faculty Start-up Program. He has served as an anonymous reviewer for SCI journals including Climatic Change, Mitigation and Adaptation Strategies for Global Change, GCB Bioenergy, Energy Economics, International Journal of Green Energy, and Journal of Integrative Agriculture.
