At the Low Carbon College, Ed will lead the University of Edinburgh's activity overall and head up its innovation and professional education activities. Ed is nco-founder and Executive Director of ECCI the award-winning Low Carbon Eco- system in Scotland. ECCI has developed a range of innovative policy, enterprise and skills services and supported more than 1,000 SMEs to accelerate low carbon products and services.Ed has more than 25 years’ experience supporting the business creation process as an entrepreneur and business adviser. Ed is a board member of HKCCI, Stirling City and WWF Scotland and has advised corporates such as Coca Cola, DHL, RBS and Skyscanner Ed has been Chair if Shell Springboard for low carbon innovation for 4 years and holds qualifications in business and ecology from the University of Edinburgh. Ed is a qualified ‘premier adviser’ for business counselling from the Institute of leadership and management and in 2017 was given the sole bursary to study at Oxford University business economics through the OUBEP programme.
