Bio
Associate Professor EUR ING Ir Ts Dr Ang Chun Kit (洪俊杰副教授) received his Bachelor of Engineering Degree with First Class Honors in Mechatronic Engineering from University of UCSI, Malaysia in year 2010. In end of year 2010, He was attached with Universiti Putra Malaysia for his PhD in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering and graduated in year 2014. Currently, He is the Dean for Faculty of Engineering Technology and Built Environment, UCSI University. His main research area are related artificial intelligence, soft computing, robotics, and mechatronics. He has published many papers which related to the application of Artificial Intelligence in recent years. Additionally, he is also actively involving in many research and public speaking which related to the topic of Artificial Intelligence. He is also the editorial board member and committee member for many conferences and events.

Mr. JY Mak has 25 years of experience in Factory Automation and Process Control industry.
Among the best practices are Industrial Automation, Robotic Handling System, Instrumentation, Process Control and Data Acquisition. He has had heavy involvement in projects involving general manufacturing industries, automobile industries, palm oil, cement manufacturing, power generation and clean water treatment processes.
Mr. Mak holds the Engineering Council certification by the Institution of Electrical & Electronics Engineering (UK). He is also graduated with a Master’s Degree of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Hertfordshire (formerly known as Hatfield Polytechnic), UK.
Mr. Mak is the founder of Hertford Group of Companies. The companies are involving in developing Industrial Revolution 4.0 for the ever efficiency demanding manufacturing and utility process plants. The IR4.0 development in Hertford Group of Companies also involved heavily in IoT & MES development, Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Digital Twins Technology. This development has won him numerous international awards among the world’s many finalists. The most recent is Autodesk ASEAN’s 2023 Grand Award for Innovation Digital Development, and the design and build for the first ever full IR4.0 Engineering & Industrial Laboratory for UCSI University in Malaysia.
