The China-UK Low Carbon College (LCC) of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, established in May 2017, is a pioneering joint initiative in the field of low carbon between two world renowned universities – Shanghai Jiao Tong University and the University of Edinburgh. As China’s first dedicated low-carbon college, LCC is committed to addressing global challenges by nurturing world-class talent, advancing cutting-edge research, and offering executive training for public and private sectors.
At LCC, we offer Master of Resources and Environment (Low Carbon Environment specialization), and Master of Energy and Power Engineering (Low Carbon Energy specialization, and Hydrogen Energy and Energy Storage specialization), tailored for professionals and aspiring leaders in areas such as low-carbon technologies, carbon finance, and carbon management. These interdisciplinary programs integrate advanced technological knowledge with insights from social sciences, creating a robust foundation in Environmental Engineering and Power Engineering.
