The 2024 International Graduate Summer School — Green for Life will be organized and hosted by China-UK Low Carbon College (LCC), Shanghai Jiao Tong University. By focusing on frontier lectures, seminars, enterprise visits as well as study tour within low carbon area, this International Graduate Summer School aims at facilitating academic communication, enhancing scientific researches, encouraging industrial innovation and motivating multiple achievements.

For 2024, by introducing a brand-new module — study tour, the International Graduate Summer School of China-UK Low Carbon College will be divided into 4 parts.

  ➢ As for frontier lectures, Carbon Accounting, Carbon Finance, Sustainable Energy, the Utilization of Carbon Resources and Carbon
      Emission Reduction will be our major topics.

  ➢ In the seminars, students will be encouraged to team up according to their own interests, have discussions and make preliminary
      research plans together. Every team is supposed to make a final report, it will be reviewed and commented by our experts then.

  ➢ During enterprise visits, students will be able to conduct low carbon related investigations on the spot.

  ➢ Finally, the participants (especially for the international students) will take a study tour to experience in person the practice of low
      carbon idea as well as the local culture in Shanghai.
