Recently, Prof Changying Zhao, Executive Dean of LCC, and Prof. Neil Robertson from University of Edinburgh have successfully applied for a bilateral workshop grant under the Researcher Links programme funded by National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and the British Council.

The workshop will be focused on the low carbon city and is scheduled to be held at LCC in Lingang, Shanghai in June 2019 for three days. The agenda includes keynote speeches, academic reports, workshops, seminars, etc. The workshop aims to extend participants’ awareness of low-carbon city challenges, promote the collaborations between Chinese and British Universities on low-carbon research and innovation projects, and improve the career development opportunities for young researchers across China and the UK.
