The successful candidate will have:

  1. a PhD in related discipline and working experience as a professor in a world-class university or research institute;
  2. an outstanding tracking record of research achievement and a history of funded research;
  3. a record of teaching achievement and a commitment to excellence in postgraduate education;
  4. exceptional and proven leadership abilities in conducting first-class, innovative and collaborative research.

LCC is the first college in China that pioneers in low carbon research and education. The vision of the college is to become a world-leading higher education institution with international influence, providing a platform for graduate education, scientific research, executive training, and innovation and incubation in the low carbon field. LCC has established partnerships with first-class universities including the University of Edinburgh, University College London, Warwick University, etc.
