Dear Graduate Students,
According to “Notice on SJTU Winter Holiday Arrangement of 2021”, hereby notifies the Semester Registration and Course Arrangement of Graduate Students for the 2020-2021 Spring Semester as follows.
1. Date and venue for semester registration and course start date
Time: 12:00 Feb 18th, 2021 to 18:00 Feb 21st, 2021 (GMT＋8).
Venue: 交我办APP for online registration, or Graduate Affairs Office of respective schools for offline registration.
Back to School: If you are within mainland China, please communicate with your counselor on your arrangement to return to the university. While if you are outside mainland China, please refer to the Chinese embassy/consulate on visa issues. Measurements on COVID-19 prevention must be strictly followed.
Courses starting date: Courses start from Feb 22nd, 2021.
2. Registration requirement
All graduate students are required to complete the semester registration within the prescribed registration period.
3. Tuitions and fees payment
For those who need to pay the tuitions and/or other fees, please make the payment before registration. For payment method, please refer to Attachment 1.
4. Semester registration deferment
Graduate students who cannot register on time due to force majeure must ask for permission to defer his/her semester registration BEFOREHAND from the Graduate Affairs Office of their school. The student should fill the “Semester Registration Deferment Request for Graduate Students” (Please refer to Attachment 2) and submit it to the Graduate Affairs Office of his/her school BEFORE February 18th, 2020. Upon approval, the student would be granted no more than two weeks of grace period.
For those who fail to make the semester registration on time without applying for deferment or being approved shall be handled according to the SJTU Regulations on Graduate Education and Management.
Without forgivable reasons, students will not be approved for registration deferment.
5. Students to graduate in March
Students who are expected to graduate on/before March 31st, 2021 are exempted from the semester registration. While those who cannot graduate on schedule should apply to extend their study duration prior to the registration, and register at My SJTU (https://my.sjtu.edu.cn) or 交我办APP as stated in Section 1.
6. Students on suspension of schooling or resuming of schooling
Student whose current status is “suspension of schooling” does not need to register. Students who need to apply for resuming schooling (at My SJTU or交我办APP) should complete the resuming schooling procedure first, and then complete the online semester registration.
