*课程简介

《储能原理》(英文课程)将系统全面介绍在新能源系统快速发展背景下储能的重要性、储能技术的基础知识和应用实例。本课程将重点介绍各种主要储能方法的基本原理,具体包括电化学储能、电磁储能、热储能、机械储能,详细阐述各种电池中的电化学反应原理、超导储能原理、热能存储过程的相变和可逆反应、飞轮和压缩空气储能原理等。同时,对各类储能技术的方法、特点、目前进展、未来趋势进行详细的描述。

本课程的教学将帮助学生了解并掌握储能过程中的基础理论和基本概念,以及化学能、热能、机械能、电能之间的转换与储存特性,同时让学生了解并掌握不同规模储能技术的原理和特点。本课程还将帮助学生理解和认识储能技术从基础研发到产业应用的主要发展过程,培养学生设计和评估多场景下储能技术与系统的能力。

* Description

The course of Principles of Energy Storage will address the significance of energy storage under renewable energy system era, fundamental theories and applications of various energy storage techniques. The course will focus on basic principles of different energy storage techniques including electrochemical energy storage, electromagnetic energy storage, thermal energy storage, mechanical energy storage. The course will introduce electrochemical reactions in various batteries, principles of superconducting, phase change and reversible reaction in thermal energy storage, principles of flywheel and compressed air energy storage. Besides, the course will also demonstrate methods, characteristics, current progress and future trends of different energy storage techniques.

This course will help the students to understand the basic principles and concepts, in addition to energy conversion and storage between chemical, thermal, mechanical and electrical energy. The students will also understand the principles and characteristics of energy storage with different scales. Through this course, the students will understand energy storage techniques from R&D to practical applications and have the ability to design and evaluate energy storage systems in different scenarios.
