On November 20th, the Second Low Carbon International Young Scholars Forum was successfully held by the China-UK Low Carbon College (LCC) of Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) in Lin-gang, Shanghai. Young scholars from over 30 world-class universities, including University of Cambridge, Princeton University, University of Edinburgh, University of Warwick, attended the forum. The forum was chaired by Prof. Changying Zhao, Dean of LCC.
Twelve academics were invited to give presentations on their research innovations and the latest research achievements. The presentations mainly focused on the green economy transformation, greenhouse gas emissions, carbon dioxide storage and utilization, solar cells, micro/nano energy materials, water treatment, and electric vehicle energy management, which demonstrated the innovation and integration of international cutting-edge and cross-scientific research technologies and achievements in the field of low carbon.
