On December 18–19, 2024, the China-UK Low Carbon College (LCC) of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, in partnership with the Institute for Sustainable Communities (ISC) and the Yimiyi Green Intelligent Manufacturing Carbon Service Platform, successfully hosted the Automotive Supply Chain Low-Carbon Transformation Training Program. The event welcomed over 60 senior managers and technical experts from the automotive industry and its supply chains.
The program aimed to strengthen low-carbon supply chain management capabilities in response to growing environmental regulations and market demands for sustainability. Through expert-led lectures and interactive discussions, participants explored key topics such as policy analysis, technological innovation, supply chain management, and compliance control.
Participants also engaged in group discussions and presentations, sharing insights and strategies to transition from compliance-driven carbon management to adopting best practices for low-carbon initiatives.
This training highlighted the vital role of green transformation in the automotive industry to support China’s "dual carbon" goals and foster a sustainable and resilient supply chain. It encouraged participants to align with industry trends, embrace opportunities, and contribute to building a greener automotive future.
