LCC Students Win Best Oral Presentation Awards at the 26th CSS-EEST International Conference in South Korea

From December 1 to 4, 2024, the 26th CAMPUS Asia CSS-EEST International Conference was held in Busan, South Korea. The conference brought together scholars, researchers, and student representatives from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Pusan National University, Kyushu University, and Universiti Teknologi Malaysia to foster academic exchange and innovation.

The delegation from the China-UK Low Carbon College (LCC) of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, led by Party Secretary Xuming Song and Vice Dean Yiliang He, actively participated in the conference and presented their research findings.

During the event, LCC doctoral students Zhufu Fu and Tengyu Zhang were each honored with the Best Oral Presentation Award. Fu's presentation, titled "The Metal-Support Synergistic Effects for CO2 Hydrogenation to Methanol over Supported NiGa Catalyst," and Zhang's research, "CO2 Fixation as Methane, Organic Acid, or Amorphous Carbon: New Insights into the Carbon Sequestration Potential of Anaerobic Digestion," showcased LCC's significant achievements in low-carbon research.
